Display Checkout Option
- Check your BigCommerce shipping settings to verify that ‘Ship on Account’ is enabled as a shipping method for display at checkout
- Navigate to the app’s "Carrier Settings" page and add in the desired carriers for display.
- Your app will now serve a "Carrier Select" shipping option at the checkout
- If you want to use the app without setting up a shipping carrier, see the (Advanced section).
Add Customer Carrier Numbers
- Navigate to the app’s ‘general settings’ page and click ‘initialise customer fields’ to add the default attribute fields
- Navigate to one of your customer accounts, and enter values in the ‘default carrier name’ and/or the ‘default carrier account’ fields
- These fields will be set as the default for that particular customer when they checkout and select the ‘Ship-on-Account shipping option
- If these two fields are left blank, then when a customer completes an order using the ‘ship on account’ method with a carrier name/account number entered, then these values will be saved to the empty ‘default carrier name’ and/or the ‘default carrier account’ fields of that customer’s profile.
