Display Checkout Option

  1. Check your BigCommerce shipping settings to verify that ‘Ship on Account’ is enabled as a shipping method for display at checkout
  2. Navigate to the app’s "Carrier Settings" page and add in the desired carriers for display.
  3. Your app will now serve a "Carrier Select" shipping option at the checkout
  4. If you want to use the app without setting up a shipping carrier, see the (Advanced section).

Add Customer Carrier Numbers

  1. Navigate to the app’s  ‘general settings’ page and click ‘initialise customer fields’ to add the default attribute fields
  2. Navigate to one of your customer accounts, and enter values in the ‘default carrier name’ and/or the ‘default carrier account’ fields
  3. These fields will be set as the default for that particular customer when they checkout and select the ‘Ship-on-Account shipping option
  4. If these two fields are left blank, then when a customer completes an order using the ‘ship on account’ method with a carrier name/account number entered, then these values will be saved to the empty ‘default carrier name’ and/or the ‘default carrier account’ fields of that customer’s profile.
