Installation

Prerequisites

• A BigCommerce store with admin access
• A storefront theme where shoppers can access the Cart page

Step 1 — Install the app

1. In BigCommerce Admin, go to Apps → Marketplace
2. Search for Cart to Email and click Install
3. Review permissions and click Confirm

During installation, the app will automatically:

• Connect to your store via OAuth
• Register the required storefront script to enable the “Send cart as PDF” experience
• Apply default settings so it’s ready to use

Step 2 — Open the app and confirm settings

1. Go to Apps → My Apps
2. Open Cart to Email
3. Confirm the app is enabled and review any available settings (such as email/PDF options, if shown in your dashboard)

Step 3 — Verify on the storefront

1. Open your storefront cart page
2. Confirm shoppers can see the Send cart as PDF option (button/link/modal entry point)

Step 4 — Test end-to-end

1. Add 1–2 products to the cart
2. Use Send cart as PDF
3. Enter a recipient email address you control
4. Confirm the email is received and the PDF includes the cart items as expected

Uninstalling

1. In BigCommerce Admin, go to Apps → My Apps
2. Find Cart to Email and click Uninstall
3. BigCommerce will remove the app’s connection and storefront script as part of the uninstall process
